The assessment costs ₹5,000 once. What you can get back depends on how much of it has been delivered, because most of the cost is the report at the end rather than the questions along the way.
Before you start: full refund
If you have paid but not yet completed your first assessment, email hello@lilacminds.com and we refund the full amount. No reason needed and nothing to justify.
Part way through: full refund
If you have started the assessments but no report has been generated, we still refund the full amount. You have spent your time and we have spent almost nothing — and if the product is not working for you, the sittings you completed are not something we want to charge for.
After your report is generated: no refund
Once your report exists, the thing you paid for has been delivered in full. It is a written interpretation of your own answers and it cannot be returned or un-read, so at that point the payment is final.
The one exception is a report that is wrong on the facts — a mis-scored assessment, a section about somebody else, a document that will not open. Tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot, we refund it.
If your window runs out
Your assessments stay open for 21 days after you start. If that window closes before you finish, write to us — we extend it, at no cost, as many times as you need. Nobody loses what they paid for because life happened.
Counselling sessions
A session booked with our counsellor is separate from the assessment fee. Move or cancel it with at least 24 hours' notice and it is refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not attend, it is not — the slot cannot be given to anybody else that late.
How a refund reaches you
Refunds go back through Razorpay to the same card, account or UPI ID the payment came from. We raise it within 3 working days of agreeing it; your bank then takes its own time, usually 5 to 7 working days. We cannot send a refund anywhere other than the original payment method.
Asking for one
Email hello@lilacminds.com with the invoice number from your receipt. You do not need to explain yourself and we will not argue about a case that falls inside the terms above.
