These are the terms of the Lilac Minds partner programme. They are short on purpose, and every figure and period in them is the one the system actually uses. If you are reading this before applying, the page you want is Partner with us.
1. What the programme is
You recommend the Lilac Minds career assessment to people you already advise. You are given one code. When somebody enrols using it, they pay ₹5,500 instead of ₹6,000 — a ₹500 discount — and you earn ₹1,200.
You are not our employee, agent or representative, and you cannot enter into anything on our behalf. You are free to stop at any time, with no notice and nothing owing in either direction beyond commission already earned.
2. Joining
Applications are reviewed by a person. We may decline one, and we will tell you why. There is no fee to join, no deposit, no minimum number of referrals and no target. Nothing expires.
Your code is created from your name when you apply and becomes usable only once your application is approved. Approval is when it starts working as a discount; before that it is just a string on your account.
One person, one partner account. A single sign-in cannot be both a partner and a member of our staff, and an address that already belongs to either will not create a second account.
3. How a referral is credited to you
Your code on the paid order decides it. If somebody enters your code at the checkout, the referral is yours. This is the rule that applies in almost every case, and it is why the code is worth handing over rather than only a link.
Your link is a fallback, not a claim. If somebody opens your link, creates an account, and then pays without any code at all within 60 days, the referral is credited to you. If they pay using a different partner’s code, that partner is credited instead — a code on the order always takes precedence over a click, which is what stops one enrolment paying two people.
A partner cannot use their own code. An order paid from your own account earns you nothing.
One commission per enrolment. If the same person enrols twice, that is two enrolments.
4. When you are paid
A commission is held for 24 hours after the payment is taken, in case that payment is reversed. Holds are released each morning, so in practice a commission earned today becomes withdrawable tomorrow morning.
You request a payout when you want one, from ₹1,200 upwards — which is exactly one referral, so a single commission is never stranded. Payouts are sent by UPI, by hand, usually the same working day. We record the UPI reference number against every payout and show it to you, so you can verify the transfer in your own bank app.
You must add a UPI ID before anything can be paid out. It is the only payment method the programme supports.
If a payout request cannot be sent — most often because the UPI ID did not accept the transfer — the request is refused, the money returns to your withdrawable balance, and we tell you why. Refusing a request never cancels the commission behind it.
5. Changing where you are paid
When you change your UPI ID, withdrawals are paused for 24 hours and we email you immediately. This is a security measure and it is not negotiable: if somebody ever gains access to your email, the pause and the notification are what give you time to stop a payout going somewhere else.
6. When a commission is taken back
If a client’s payment is refunded or reversed, the commission for that referral is cancelled. We email you when this happens.
If we had already paid you for it, we cannot recall the transfer. Instead the amount is recorded against your account and deducted from your next withdrawal. If you never earn again, we will not pursue you for it — but the balance stays recorded until it is absorbed.
7. What you may and may not do
You may:
- tell anybody about the assessment, in person, by message, or on your own social accounts;
- print and display the material we generate for you, unaltered;
- say what the assessment costs and what the discount is.
You may not:
- list your code on a coupon, deals or cashback site. The discount exists so that you can give something to a family you are advising, and a code on a voucher aggregator is a discount with no recommendation attached to it;
- bid on “Lilac Minds” or our domain name in paid search, or run ads that could be mistaken for ours;
- claim to be Lilac Minds, or to speak for us, or to be able to interpret anybody’s results;
- promise a result — a career, a course, a college, a score or an outcome of any kind. The assessment describes somebody; it does not guarantee anything about their future;
- create accounts, place orders or generate clicks to inflate your own numbers, or use your code for people who are not genuinely enrolling;
- alter the material we generate, or produce your own material carrying our name or logo;
- send unsolicited bulk messages or email of any kind.
8. What you will and will not see about the people you refer
Your dashboard shows a first name and whether you have been paid for that referral. It shows nothing else — no contact details, no answers, and nothing whatsoever about anybody’s results.
That is a deliberate limit and it will not be relaxed. Many partners teach or counsel the person they referred, and results belong to the client and their guardian, not to the person who recommended the assessment. You will also never be told when somebody opens your link and decides against it.
9. Suspension and removal
We may suspend your account if we believe a rule in section 7 has been broken or a referral is not genuine. Suspension switches your code off immediately and we tell you the reason.
Suspension freezes your balance; it does not take it. Commissions already earned remain recorded and become withdrawable again if your account is reinstated. Where a referral is found not to be genuine, that specific commission may be cancelled.
You may leave at any time by telling us. Anything genuinely earned before then is still yours, and you can withdraw it once it reaches the minimum.
10. Tax
Commission is income and declaring it is your responsibility. We do not currently deduct tax at source on these payments. If that changes we will tell you before it applies to a payout, and the amount deducted will be shown against each one.
11. The material we make for you
The images, posters and text we generate are ours, licensed to you for as long as you are a partner, to use as they are. If we improve them, yours are regenerated automatically. If you leave the programme, stop using them and take down anything displayed publicly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change the commission, the discount or these terms. A change applies from the day it is published and never to commissions already earned — an amount you have already been credited is not recalculated. If the commission changes we will email you rather than leaving you to notice.

What we hold about you, what the click counter does and does not record, and how long any of it is kept is set out in the privacy policy, which covers partners as well as clients.
